Last Thursday 13 February, the Event Cinema Association welcomed a full house to Vue West End for the ECA’s third annual Slate Day.
The day was hosted by the sensational Tom Linay, Content Business Director at Digital Cinema Media and was kick-started by celebrating the successes of 2019 with international insights from Comscore’s Luke Williams. The event showcased a selection of 2020 event cinema titles from over 12 different content providers, with the day concluding with the ECA Box Office Awards 2019.
The ECA awards – sponsored by Encompass – recognise the global box office takings for ECA members with the top performing titles in the following categories – Ballet, Concert, Opera and Theatre.
